The name OptiMantra comes from "Opti"mal + "Mantra" - in other words, we strive to be the optimal formula for your clinic!‍

You'll see us often abbreviate to "OM" which is arguably the most popular mantra in world and defined by Hindu scripture as being the primordial sound of creation, that is, the original vibration of the universe.

OptiMantra provides integrative medicine and wellness practitioners with a comprehensive, easy-to-use, online practice management and EMR/EHR software that is customized to their practices and services.

In a centralized platform, single and multi-practitioner offices can manage their entire practices: tracking practice details, patient medical information, financial accounts, and supplies.

Everyday tasks - online appointment scheduling, calendar management, the creation, sending and receiving of patient intake forms, the completion of charts, reception of payments, superbills, submission of insurance, tracking and replenishment of inventory - are completed in a couple of clicks.

OptiMantra was founded in 2011 and is led by a seasoned team of healthcare and technology experts with more than 25 years of combined experience.

In close collaboration with its Advisory Council and membership, the OptiMantra team has customized its practice management and EHR platform so it caters to the unique needs of different integrative modalities including urgent and primary care, naturopathic medicine, acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), chiropractice, massage therapy, nutrition and diet, nurse practitioners, mental health and more.

Dr. Erin Kinney, ND

Dr. Erin Kinney is a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and summa cum laude graduate of the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine (UBCNM).  

Dr. Kinney is the owner of KinnCare Naturopathic, vice president of the Maryland Naturopathic Doctors Association, and an active member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physcians. ‍ 

She specializes in caring for patients who suffer from anxiety, depression, gastro-intestinal disorders, and adrenal fatigue.

Mr. Tetsuhiro Ueno, M.A.O.M., L.Ac.

Mr. Tetsuhiro Ueno is nationally licensed and board certified in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He graduated valedictorian from Texas College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where he earned his master's degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.  

Mr. Ueno practices from his private practice at Advanced Health Center. He has taught at South Baylo University, School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, in Falls Church, VA.

  He is particularly interested in reproductive and gynecological conditions, insomnia, depression, and internal diseases.

Stacey Kargman, N.M.D, L.Ac

Dr. Stacey Kargman is a board certified Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and Diplomate of Acupuncture. She is licensed by the Naturopathic Board of Medical Examiners and the Maryland Board of Acupuncture. She received her NMD and Master's in TCM Acupuncture from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine.   

Dr. Kargman practices from Maryland Natural Health Center and is a faculty member at the University of Maryland-UMBC. ‍ 

Her specialties include hormonal balancing, gastrointestinal disorders, allergy testing and elimination, endocrine imbalances, mood disorders, depression, panic attacks, addictions and management of migraines.

Smita Patel, Ayurvedic Practitioner

Mrs. Smita Patel is an Ayurvedic Practitioner, specializing in therapeutic healing, with over 15 years of experience.  

Mrs. Patel started and practices from Smeeta's Integrative Wellness Center in Maryland. ‍ 

She specializes in using a number of healing modalities including nutrition, yoga, reiki, acupuncture, and massage to balance the mind, body, and spirit of each of her clients.

Chris Ogilvie, ND

Dr. Christopher Ogilvie is a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and graduate of the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine.  

Dr. Ogilvie started the Integrative Health Center of Virginia in Virginia, and soon thereafter opened a second office. He currently practices with Falls Church Wellness.  

He specializes in reducing patients' dependence on potentially harmful medicines and treatments, removing obstacles to health, and supporting the body through food-based and energetic therapies.
