What is integrative primary care?Integrative medicine uses evidenced based approach to treat the whole person holistically. This approach uses a combination of therapies. It “integrates'' conventional approaches and complementary therapies to achieve optimal health and healing. Such as prescription medications, IV therapies, supplements, nutritional guidance, and other modalities to treat patients in a holistic manner.

The following is a list of common primary care services:1. Preventive services: health promotion education to help prevent illnesses or diseases.
2. Proper disease diagnosis: Physical exams, lab tests are used to diagnose diseases or other illnesses.
3. Ongoing care for common illnesses: We continue to see patients throughout their lifespan to treat illnesses and diseases once they are diagnosed.
4. Caring for chronic conditions like type 2 diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, chronic fatigue, Obesity, hormone imbalances, thyroid issues, etc.
5. Annual checkups: Annual visits; which are important, especially as we get older.
6. Screening for common age-related conditions: We provide health screenings for common age-related conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, cancer, osteoporosis, prostate issues, and hormonal imbalances.
7. We provide recommendations and referrals to a specialist when needed.
If we uncover an illness or disease that is better suited for treatment from a specialist, we will provide a recommendation so that the patient can see the right specialist for best results. We work with the specialists when it comes to more severe conditions such as cancer or heart disease. However, the specialist will keep the primary care practitioner updated so that they can continue to monitor the patient's condition.
Routine primary care medical services include acute medical problems, advanced assessment, diagnosis, blood work order and review, medication prescription; health promotion, restoration, & disease prevention, Nutrition education, patient and family education.
Acute medical issues- examples: Urinary tract infections, upper respiratory problems, headaches, and minor to moderate pain.
NOTE: Your visits are completed Virtually, Not in office. in-office visits are available if necessary.
