In recent years, there has been a growing recognition of the importance of a holistic and root-cause analysis approach to women’s health. Women’s Integrative and Functional Consults (WIFC) have emerged as a unique and comprehensive way to address the complex interplay of physical, emotional, and lifestyle factors that contribute to a woman’s overall well-being.
Integrative and functional medicine takes a patient-centered approach that considers the whole person, rather than just focusing on symptoms. It seeks to identify the root causes of health issues by examining the intricate connections between various systems in the body. Functional medicine aims to restore balance and optimize function, while integrative medicine incorporates both conventional and complementary therapies to achieve this goal.
