Discovery call for potential new patients.
1. Introduction & Rapport Building (3 Minutes)
Set the Stage: Welcome the patient warmly and introduce yourself.
Establish the Purpose: Clearly state that this is a "no-pressure" conversation to explore fit, not a clinical appointment.
Set the Agenda: Explain that you will discuss their health goals, explain your services, and discuss next steps.
Icebreaker: Engage in light conversation to help them feel comfortable. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
2. Discovery: Needs & Goals (5-10 Minutes)
Open-Ended Questions: Ask why they are seeking care now and what they hope to achieve.
Examples: "What prompted you to reach out today?" or "What brings you to our clinic?".
Identify Pain Points: Let them describe their symptoms, challenges, and how these affect their life.
Active Listening: Listen more than you speak; validate their frustrations by acknowledging their pain points.
